Discord Nitro subscribers can now personalize their profiles with animated avatar decorations. To enhance this feature, Discord partnered with Born & Bred to design vibrant themes, including whimsical cottage core, playful animals, and fun breakfast motifs. These unique decorations add personality and flair to user avatars.
[ Approach ]
Born & Bred worked on both the illustration and animation for Discord's avatar decorations, utilizing various techniques to achieve the best results. From motion graphics to frame-by-frame animation, the team explored diverse styles to bring each theme to life. These included anime-inspired designs, hand-drawn styles, and realistic approaches, ensuring a wide variety of options for Nitro subscribers. Each avatar decoration was crafted with care, blending artistry and animation techniques to offer engaging and unique choices for personalizing profiles.
